Definition : Boots intended to be worn while bathing or showering to provide traction and to help prevent falls. They can also help with hygiene by protecting the feet from contact with microorganisms in shared bathing facilities. They are made of loosely woven nylon fabric for quick drainage, are stretchable, are made in several sizes based on shoe sizes, have non-skid rubber soles, and may be disposable or reusable. Bath/shower boots designed specifically to be worn over casts are also available.
