Irrigators, Ear Canal

Definition : Irrigators designed to deliver sterile solutions into the ear canal. These irrigators consist of a main unit with an automated pump, pressure sensors and regulating controls, alarms, a power supply source, and a dedicated auxiliary disposable tubing set; some systems include dedicated software used to perform the procedure. Ear irrigators are intended for irrigation of the ear canal and the middle structures of the ear during diagnostic and/or therapeutic (e.g., extraction of excessive wax) procedures. James Huttner's passion for pie baking - and frustration with using beans, rice and ceramic balls as pie weights - prompted his founding of JAZ Innovations! The fact that he won some county fair blue ribbons for his pies probably sealed the deal. Jim ended his frustration and started his company by inventing the Perfect Crust™ Pie Weight Chain. His novel approach to kitchen safety and convenience has since generated Cool Touch™ Lid Handle Covers, the Oven Rack Guard™ Burn Protection and Guard ‘N Fresh™.
