Definition : Clinical chemistry reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative chemical analyses of body fluids (typically serum) to determine the level of the enzyme arylamidase (also known as leucine aminopeptidase). The level of arylamidase is increased in several diseases, such as hepatic tumors, and in diseases of the common duct, including acute pancreatitis and pancreatic carcinoma.
