Warming/Cooling Units

Definition : Devices that combine warming and cooling capabilities in one unit. These units include a heating element or system and a refrigerating system; they are designed to add or remove heat from a substance, material, fluid, or other device (i.e., to warm or cool). Some warming/cooling units are used to help regulate a patient's temperature.
