Thermometers, Electronic, Cryogenic
Definition : Electronic thermometers designed to measure very low (i.e., cryogenic) temperatures, typically below -130 degrees Celsius (-202 degrees Fahrenheit). These devices typically consist of a very sensitive sensor (e.g., a silicone chip transducer), appropriately packaged to withstand very low temperatures, that is integrated in a probe; a cable; and an electronic unit with a display that shows the temperature. Cryogenic thermometers may read temperatures as low as -270 degrees Celsius (-454 degrees Fahrenheit).
