Pumps, Circulating-Liquid, Localized Heating
Definition : Circulating-liquid pumps designed to deliver a temperature-controlled flow of warmed liquid (e.g., water) through hoses into pads that have appropriate channels for liquid circulation. These pumps typically use an electric resistor for liquid-heating purposes. Localized-heating pumps are used for therapeutic localized mild heating (i.e., warming at no more than 43 degrees C) of a patient's skin.
