Cryotherapy/Compression Units

Definition : Devices that combine a compression cuff wrapped around an articulation (e.g., knee, shoulder, ankle), with a source of cold fluid, either gas or liquid. The combination of cold with local compression is used in the treatment of pain, hematomas, and sprains and in rehabilitation of the articulations.
