Dental Wax

Definition : Mixtures of natural and synthetic waxes, resins, coloring agents, and other additives, used to produce bite patterns for casting custom dental prostheses, such as crowns and bridges. Thes mixtures are also used in the construction of non-metallic denture bases, to register jaw relations, and as an aid in dental laboratory work.
