Definition : Graphic recorders of the changes in electrical potential or impedance as a result of the movement of the vocal cords during respiration and phonation, using an appropriate sensor. These recorders are used for assessing the degree of closure of the vocal cords in the treatment of voice disorders and in the study of the laryngeal mechanism
