Warming Units

Definition : Devices that use some heating element (e.g., electric resistor, radiant energy) or system to warm a substance, air, material, fluid, or device or to regulate body temperature. Warming units typically contain a power supply (either using internal batteries or a connection to the power line), the heating element, and a way to transfer the heat or circulate a warm fluid (e.g., blowers, coils, tubing, etc.) They may be stationary units, movable (on casters or wheels) or portable devices.
