Analyzers, Laboratory, Clinical Chemistry
Definition : Laboratory analyzers designed to examine samples of compounds or mixtures to determine the nature or the proportion of their constituents and/or separate them into their constituent substances by means of chemical reagents; they may also perform additional physical processes (e.g., centrifugation). Most clinical chemistry laboratory analyzers are used to determine the concentration of certain metabolites, electrolytes, proteins, and/or drugs in body fluids (e.g., plasma, serum, urine, cerebrospinal fluid).
