Dental Prosthesis Connectors

Definition : Connectors designed to lock artificial teeth to dental retainers used in fixed dental prostheses. These devices are an integral part of the dental prostheses; they may be rigid (e.g., cast, soldered) or semirigid (i.e., resilient) typically using a male-female locking connection. Dedicated dental prosthesis connectors are also available as a component of a two-component denture attachment.
