syngo® Velocity Vector Imaging (VVI) is a visual and quantitative method for assessing cardiac mechanics, or the dynamics of cardiac motion (Figure 5). syngo VVI uses the 2D (B-mode) information within the image to determine the tissue motion throughout the cardiac cycle or cycles. Various motion-related parameters are derived from the computed motion and displayed in a number of ways. Thus, cardiac motion can now be quickly and easily quantified. Read on to learn how.
