AC DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIER WITH REMOTE PROBE , AND IMPEDANCE TEST
The model MDA-41 has precisely the same operational characteristics and specifications as the model MDA-4 when the IMPEDANCE mode switch is in the NORMAL OPERATION position. When the IMPEDANCE mode switch is in either test position both inputs to the amplifier of the probe stage are grounded. The probe input connectors are reconfigured to connect to the impedance test circuitry of the probe. In the IMP. TEST + or the IMP. TEST - position of the IMPEDANCE mode switch, an AC constant current source is applied to the appropriate input lead and the impedance of its electrode is read on the meter.
AC DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIERS WITH REMOTE PROBE
The MDA-3 and MDA-4 are high performance preamplifiers designed specifically for low level AC neurological and cardiac signals from high impedance electrodes. Both instruments utilize a small, very high input impedance differential head stage to minimize capacitive signal loss and noise pick-up. The probe is small enough to be mounted close to the preparation and comes equipped with short minigator leads for clipping to metal microelectrodes. Mini-banana jack connectors are provided for + IN, - IN and GROUND.
Custom Designed Minature Multichannel Recording Systems
If you need four or more specialized amplification channels for multi-channel recording, the MMRS system offers a unique solution. You specify your needs, well design the circuits, and the final package will be smaller, less expensive, and easier to use than obtaining the equivalent performance from general purpose amplifiers. An MMRS system generally consists of a rack-mountable power supply (RP-2), 4-13 modular card-mounted amplifiers, and an optional multi-channel hybrid IC probe. The high-impedance DC probe is specially designed for high impedance recording from moving animals. It consists
D.C. DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIER WITH REMOTE PROBE
The Model DCDA-l is a high performance preamplifier designed for both low level A.C. neurological and cardiac signals from high impedance electrodes as well as slow wave phenomena such as D.C. potential shifts associated with sucrose gap type experiments. It is provided with capacitive feedback neutralization which is controlled from the main unit front panel to nullify the shunting effect of stray capacitance existing across higher impedance electrodes. The amplifier utilizes a small, very high impedance differential head stage with driven guard inputs to minimize noise pick-up and capacitive
Metal Microelectrode Preamplifier and Impedance Tester
The Model A-1 amplifier was designed as a versatile preamplifier and impedance testing system for metal microelectrodes. The Model A-1 comes with a small remote active probe so that the input amplification stage is as close to the electrode as possible in order to reduce input capacity and noise pickup. The impedance of the electrode may be measured by simply turning the mode switch on the front panel to TEST and observing the impedance value on the meter.
MICROPIPETTE ELECTRODE INTRACELLULAR PROBE SYSTEM
The Model A-2 is an excellent alternative to much more expensive systems which provide several features not normally required. The Intracellular probe system is a completely solid state device employing negative capacitance feedback, a very stable DC coupled input isolation stage with a separate high quality common, and wide bandwidth for excellent recording of physiological phenomena. It has a small active probe which utilizes miniature reed switches so that the input may be remotely connected to ground when stimulating or passing high currents through the electrode. External voltages can be
