The Povidone Iodine 2.5 inch Swabstick is intended for kits where space is a minimum. The swab head is the same size as the standard size swab but has a much shorter stick. Therefore, it takes up less space in your kit. The use of a Swabstick has the advantage of keeping the practitioner's hands away from the prep site. It also provides more antiseptic than compared to prep pads or ampoules.
