The DXpress Reader is a multi-functional portable tabletop instrument used to read results of quantitative and qualitative in vitro immunodiagnostic assays. The Reader works in conjunction with Nanogen's StatusFirst® CHF NT-proBNP Test to measure and display quantitative results for NT-proBNP.
The DXpress Reader uses an LED light source to illuminate the test device containing a patient specimen. The Reader then captures and analyzes the reflected image. For quantitative tests, the reader converts the intensity of the test result line into a concentration of analyte. It does this using a
