The orthosis core is made of a rigid cushioned correction splint with a leather buckle and fastening strap (Velcro).Big-toe joint deformation (Hallux Valgus) is frequent, in particular in women, accompanied by pain, especially with contingent lesion. Initial changes can be corrected by using the nightwear bandage, which is a very effective manner of repair. Application of the bandage is during night, fastened is by Velcro. Night use of the corrector will alleviate pain and decrease the need of operations.

It compensates light and medium degrees of instability in the astragal joint with sustained injuries of ligaments. The brace is used with advantage for post-traumatic ligament weakness, helps in cases when the Achilles tendon is overstrained. The product is intended for treatment or after-treatment of injuries in the talus joint region, in particular conditions after talus ankle fractures, after more serious distortions in the talus region. Rigidity of the orthosis can be considerably increased by fixing the attached Velcro pressure strap in an eight-shape figure. The product is sufficiently thin to be comfortably fitted into a moderately larger-sized shoe, in particular into sports footwear. With splints removed, the product can be washed in a bath up to 40 °C and/or cleaned.

The brace consists of two anatomically shaped plastic parts padded with a soft lining with graded compression. In the bottom part under the heel, the two segments are connected by means of a strap that allows the brace to be adjusted depending on the width of the foot. Fixation to the talar joint is secured by means of two fastening straps. The brace is universal, i.e. it can be used for either the left or right foot.

The AIRFORM® Ankle stirrup features a single bladder with three regulated communicative chambers. It's unique design utilizes the fit of low profile pneumatics to dramatically increase stability without the rolling and swaying experienced in other stirrups. The "slow rebound" air delivery system reduces bottoming out. The air bladder is enclosed and protected to prevent puncture. The AIRFORM® pad captures and maintains a continuous smooth interface with the surface anatomy.

The contour design of this lightweight brace allows it to fit easily into most athletic shoes. It stabilizes the ankle joint following severe sprains, tendonitis or after cast removal. The semi-rigid spiral stays move with the ankle and provide optimum medial-lateral support. The stays also help control rotational strains on the ankle, and they provide resistance to inversion and eversion. The elastic panel in back permits athletic ankle motion. The lace front facilitates application and post-swelling adjustment.
