Old timers remember the original BioMuse v.1 (on the right) - introduced in 1992. It was a big expensive development platform that enabled musicians to make use of any bioelectric signal to control MIDI code - and thus give voice to the body electric. The Biomuse was also used as a general purpose neural interface - allowing developers to control video game objects, robotic devices, and virtual worlds - with brainwaves, eye glance, and hand gestures.
