The Minifold II System is designed for precise, quantitative solid-phase assays with three rows of 24 slots, spaced according to multi-tip pipette format. The smaller slot surface area results in higher signal intensity and requires less sample than standard dot-blot formats. The resulting blot can be read with a densitometer.

The ıDot Blottingı and ıSlot Blottingı Systems
from PEQLAB are designed for use in DNA
and RNA hybridization and immunochemical
studies. Constructed using solid acrylic
glass with tightly fitting rubber seals to
prevent sample loss and cross over, these
systems optimise the performance of any
ıDotı or ıSlotı blotting studies. Covers and
reservoir are fixed with six high-grade steel
screws. Vacuum settings can be made to
approximately 800 hPa.
Gradient mixers are used in the manufacturing
of saccharose or CsCl gradients
and for the preparation of polyacrylamide
gradient gels.
